Registration

    All participants who will attend the 1st Latin American Conference of the International History, Philosophy, and Science Teaching Group (IHPST-LA) are requested to fill a form and to pay the registration fee (except in the case of invited speakers).
    Participants who would like to submit a paper for presentation should consult the guidelines for paper submission.
   All participants who will attend the 1st IHPST-LA will need to fill a form and to pay the registration fee.

     Participants from abroad may pay their registration fees during the conference. The registration fee is:
1) PhD participants (researchers, professors, etc.)
     8th ICHSSE: US$ 70,00
     1st IHPST-LA: US$ 70,00
     Both: US$ 120,00
2) Non-PhD participants (students, etc.)
     8th ICHSSE: US$ 50,00
     1st IHPST-LA: US$ 50,00
     Both: US$ 80,00
    All the activities of the Conference will occur at the Maresias Beach Hotel, where all invited speakers will be lodged. Participants who would prefer to stay at other nearby hotels may do so, but in that case there will be an extra fee for coffee break expenses at the Maresias Beach Hotel.
    Maresias Beach Hotel offers special discounts for participants of the 8th ICHSSE and 1st IHPST-LA. The daily rates are:
Single room: R$215,00 (about US$120.00)
Double room: R$155,00 (about US$90.00) for each person
Triple room: R$135,00 (about US$75.00) for each person
     Daily rates, in Maresias Beach Hotel, include three meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Drinks are not included.
     Hotel reservation and payment should be dealt direclty with the hotel. You should inform that you are attending this conference, to profit from the above described special rates.
